This week Glow Labs launches Taste Success. The campaign created for the Food and Drink Federation (FDF), is part of an exciting digital campaign to inspire young people to consider careers in the food and drink industry.
The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) in partnership with Improve (Food and Drink Skills Council) and the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) launched digitally-based activity as part of the wider ‘Taste Success – A Future in Food’ careers campaign which aims to drive interest in careers in the food and drink manufacturing industry which is facing a 137,000 shortfall in personnel by 2017. It’s particularly aimed at the 16-18 year age group who are considering or have finished A-levels, a degree, FE or apprenticeship options.
The integrated digital campaign features: A Facebook page and game, three comedy career focused videos and a microsite providing more information about a routes to a career in food.
The campaign is to be officially launched at The Big Bang Fair in Birmingham on 16-17 March.
